Founded in 1942 under the Vidya Bhawan Society, Vidya Bhawan G.S. Teachers College is one of the earliest institutions focused on teacher education in Rajasthan. Initially offering teacher certification courses, it introduced B.Ed., M.Ed., and Ph.D. programs over time, with the first Ph.D. awarded in 1963. The college was upgraded to an Institute of Advanced Studies in Education in 1993 under the CTE scheme for quality teacher training. Founded in 1956, Vidya Bhawan Polytechnic College specializes in technical education that emphasizes social and environmental responsibility. It offers diploma courses in Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, and IT, along with a post-diploma in Polymer Science & Rubber Technology. The college also provides a Mechatronics certificate in partnership with BOSCH and Saraswati Singhal Foundation, affiliated to Rajasthan ILD Skills University.
