Vidya Bhawan G.S. Teacher’s College (CTE) offers courses which include B.Ed., M.Ed. and Ph.D. in Education.. In-service training prorgamme for Secondary Teachers, Head Master, Librarians and Physical Instructor are regularly organized by the CTE. The college is also the centre for IGNOU B.Ed. Course. Equipped with modern teaching aids such as smart-boards, projectors, visualizers etc. the college has a classical up-do-date library with separate chambers for scholors and an E-library as well; a digital language lab; science, psychology, geography, computer and education technology labs, a music room, a workshop, two conference-cum-class rooms and an auditorium. The college offers separate hostel facilities for girls and boys with solar water-heating system. VBGSTC, established in 1942, is one of the earliest colleges of Rajasthan and a pioneer in the masters and doctoral programmes for teachers in the state. It has built linkages with apex national bodies like NCERT, UGC, NCTE, NIPA and with state level institutions like SIERT, other institutes of advance studies in education, colleges of teacher education and DIETs.

Vidya Bhawan Kala Sansthan BSTC provides two years diploma course in elementary teacher education. The 69 years old Institute was amongst the first in India to prepare craft teachers. In the light of NCF 2005 and NCF 2009 the Institute made many changes in curriculum transaction and SIERT Rajasthan has also considered these changes while developing the new curriculum for BSTC. Institute has well-qualified and staff. Group work, theme and task based work, discussion, expressions and presentation based evaluation and block practice teaching are some of the methods used in teaching. The faculty ensures that each student-teacher gets enough opportunities to experience the kind of work they are supposed to do with children in the context of RTE & CCE.

Established in 2008, the Institute is recognized by the NCTE and is affiliated to the Mohan Lal Sukhadia University.
